Just got the leaded glass window back from the glass shop. All they did was encase it between two pieces of glass. Now to find the time to build the door for it.

Swiggle strip 😉

After seeing @Kreindog24 's Wolf watch box at the First Annual Western Mass GTG last week, I knew one was destined for my bureau, along with another winder as the cheap eBay POS I bought last year died a meek death months ago. I purposely bought a far larger box than I needed for future enabling.

It's nice no longer having to use "extra padding."

ordered a nice pencil for the office... and saw a nice pen while picking it up.... sneaky how they display them in the open like that at the store.

One of the prettiest, high-quality vintage travel agency display models I've ever come across. Big (45x48cm), substantial, and fully original.

Bought this for $4.97. Wait, you want me to spend all my money. Not gonna happen.

Didn't pay for them today. But they got delivered this morning...

Kitchen Cabinets!

They are going to stay in the boxes until the painting is done. And possibly until the floor are done.

Not a watch, but a time switch... for a watch related thing. After a looking at the mechanical time switch that came with the watch cleaner, it turns out it worked only when the mechanism jammed... several of the pinions had sheared of inside leaving the gears all cockeyed. 😵‍💫

So I replaced it with a cheap time switch. 😎

Not a purchase, but a gift from my better half. Turned up today.

I'm a big Edd China fan. Its a shame he's leaving Wheeler Dealers - he was the only reason for watching it. That said, it went downhill when they moved it all stateside.

I still think the best one they did was when they rebuilt the moggie from the ground up, as it had a rotten chassis. You don't seem them doing that anymore.

Tomorrow I get an actual working, functional 100Mbit/40Mbit internet connection. I've been getting by on a barely working 3Mbit adsl line with bad packet loss for almost 4 months so to be able to join the rest of the world and be able to actually work without endless frustration is something I've been looking forward to more than any watch purchase.

I seriously haven't been this excited since I was a kid hoping Santa brought a Super Nintendo for christmas.

It's ridiculous how quick you get used to the increased bandwidth though... 👍

I've heard that, going from 5% packet loss to 0% and 360p or 240p youtube videos to 1080p would be a massive win though!

Bought on Saturday in a lot of medieval and earlier coins ...

What you are looking at is the goddess Nike, standing on the helmet of her defeated foe, carving VIC TORI into the back of a shield. It's about 2300 years old.
