Bought this reasonable priced clip-on macro lens off Amazon. Only 15 Euros / 16 US $ but does the trick.

And it seems to work on my latest acquisition

Cheers

Hahah. I don't know. This is a satirical book, by the way.

I went out with a limit set on how much I should spend on "the little woman" for Christmas.

I came back with goodies totalling well over four times said limit.

Pretty good year then as I'm often farther over.... half the fun of Christmas is the annual crushing of the limit and the long sigh and subtle complaints of over spending on Christmas morning. She never lets me take it back though.

And who benefits the most from overspending on "the little woman"? Why the "little man", of course. 馃檮

Did pretty well at the on-line auctions this week, snagging both lots decidedly under the lowest prices I'm used to seeing.

6 x 2001 Chateau Suduiraut (Sauternes) 375ml bottles from Spectrum
2 x 2007 Comte de Vog眉茅 Chambolle-Musigny (Burgundy) 750ml bottles from Zachy's

Here's the best part: both are approved by the significant other! ::psy:: While I was taking a quick inventory of Burgundy, my wife snuck in behind me and noticed empty slots in the Comte de Vog眉茅 section. When she found out it was 2007 (a year she really likes, and so do I) she made me count how many we had of the various levels of Musigny. According to her math, we had enough Vieilles Vignes (old vine) and Premier Cru, but were short on Village level. Under strict spousal orders, I bit the bullet ( 馃槈 馃槑 ) and went straight to Wine Searcher. 馃槣 Oh, the sacrifices I make! 馃榿

Another muskrat knife just arrived in mail today.
The factory edge on the blades are basically useless, so I need to sharpen them to be usable...
