Yeah, the seller is either lying or clueless. Disregard his comments either way.
If it was fully correct and mint, this would be a €4.500 watch for me. However the drop off with that uneven degraded dial, wrong crown and overpolished bezel is such, that I don't fancy the watch anymore. Not even for half value.
Only a question on my mind.
If is not a delux, what is that/? There are gold dial Still not delux dial?
You think is not made of gold? What could be? Fake dial/gold filled dial (if exist?)
De Luxe denotes a model that has a regular model (be it steel, capped or solid gold cased) and a "De Luxe" execution.
The regulars, like the one you posted here have metal dial (I believe made from brass) and have a painted or plated dial front. The De Luxe are made of solid gold. But make no mistake, they have a (clear) lacquer coating that can degrade.
But back to the OP's watch.. it has a badly polished case front with a definition-less bezel and quite a shabby looking dial which judging from the missing 'i' in Swiss Made has either seen some water damage or been subjected to a semi-successful cleaning attempt. Either way for me it is a big 'Pass'
