The bracelet is comfortable but the push triggers are a bit sharp and can dig into you a little. Overall it's not uncomfortable, I am waiting for the leather strap since I can never get steel bracelets to fit perfectly on my wrist. I am enjoying the watch so far, it's very clean and crisp.

I would also agree that its not uncomfortable.. usually. I am not a fan though of the bracelet, but i do like the look with it. Love the leather straps way better. I actually just got a new strap for it two days ago and installed it yesterday. I am loving it!

Hey everyone ,
I'm the more than happy owner of a Globemaster. I bought it on the alligator strap because the OEM bracelet doesn't speak to me. It feel a little to bulky compared to the fine bezel, imho.

I have several straps for this watch, including a Nato and a milanese mesh, and I was wondering if it would be possible to adapt a metal bracelet to this watch. I mean with end links and everything ... OEM or not . Something that fits well .

Does any of you have ever tried it ? To put another steel bracelet on the Globemaster (beside a mesh) ?

Thank you all !

(Here is it on my last cutsom strap)

I bought mine on the bracelet and find it very comfortable to wear. I’ll probably buy the OEM alligator strap with the deployant clasp at some point just to provide an additional wearing option. IMHO, the Globemaster is one of Omega’s best offerings, but it’s frequently overshadowed by the Seamaster and Speedmaster lines.

Thanks! The Globemaster is a beautiful watch when viewed in person, but it’s really difficult to photograph because of the way that the pie pan dial plays with the light. Pics often come out looking “flat” and uninspiring. In the flesh, it’s anything but. Frankly, I got lucky with my photo and captured it at just the right angle. Omega really got it right with this model.

Have had this watch on my wrist and understand how difficult it is to photograph! You really caught all of the detail in this shot.👍

And @Longbow , nice review!👍 The heft of this watch and the fact that it is a tribute to the original Globemaster (the precursor to the Constellation) are what have stopped me from buying it. However beautiful it is (and it is!🥰) as a nice dress watch it wears more like a sports watch. Maybe someday I’ll get over this (have been offered a G.M. from fellow forum member) but for now I’ll do without.🙁

Thanks to you I now have to put a blue dial globemaster on my list of watches to get after the DeWitt Academia Mathematica (a grail to be sure). Thanks a lot! (Meant both sarcastically and sincerely.)

Nice topic! I recently bought the white model on the bracelet. Though it is quite comfortable, I find the looks a bit on the bland side when using the bracelet. A leather strap suits it better. After reading stories about the pricing of the OEM leather straps and deployant clasps (I am told these sell for ~600-700 EUR), I bought a Hirsch strap that is specifically made for Omega watches. A dark blue genuine alligator for about Eur 240 (including 'Hirsch magic clasp' which is just awesome: on the go adjustment without using the holes in the strap. Ultimate comfort. Lately I have refinished the polished finishing of the clasp with a light brushing pad. Now it matches the watch case)!

The white GM seems to be a strap monster so I have ordered some more straps..

If anyone is interested in selling their OEM clasp, please let me know 😀

That strap adds some "pop" to an already fine looking watch.

@Longbow, thank-you so much for posting your review.

I must have read and re-read this 4-5 times as I've been unsure if a Globemaster was to go on my ever growing want-to-buy list... I've really enjoyed reading as you have provided me with a great experience of ownership, the good, bad and ugly... OK, not so ugly 🥰

Being close to my birth year, I already have a 168.0065 Japan Constellation and have been considering which way I wanted to go in expanding my small collection. I still feel I want a modern version of a pie-pan although currently, I'm trying to get on top of Speedmasteritis so wouldn't expect to get a piece brand new when ready to hit the button.

I do however have to find a local AD that actually has one in stock to test the overall weight and feel... I'm already hooked with the look which personally feels more dress than tool and would be my go to for such occasions. Which color is the next big decision which I hope I'll be able to answer when on the wrist, silver which would be more in-line with my Constellation or blue, which from the images posted sings to me more.
