ut feel there are just too many colours competing with one another....less is more. I prefer the blue-dial steel and tungsten carbide version, which the one I purchased in the end.

That is a helpful review. Thanks.
I also find my GM on bracelet a bit heavy. Did anyone ever consider a titanium bracelet?
I am sure there must be one available one the market that is somewhat suitable.

did anyone ever try it one the mesh bracelet of the „no time to die seamaster“?

On the one hand, this excellent thread from our friend @Longbow doesn't deserve to disappear and on the other hand I'm so happy about my new, almost perfect bracelet for my Globemaster.

It is a Milanaise from Staib (German manufacturer), completely brushed, top quality and very comfortable to wear. It's 20mm wide and not tapered which is very important to me.

    Good morning all,

Hope everyone is well, I have a quick question if I may, I have a new blue GM inbound to arrive after Christmas so I am getting prepared! Does anyone know the correct precision screwdriver for bracelet link removal? Would it be a 1.8 x 40mm? I've used that size on my SM before.

Here is what I have used previously:

I know the GM Bracelet has the tiny cap screws and then pins, so may need a small amount of heating up with a butane torch to loosen the locktite too.

    Best wishes,
    Dave

I thought you were getting Snoopy? Or was it a Submariner? Now a GM!!!

    I can't keep up :D

Hehe, watches are such fun, you think you're settled then you open a thread, read a post, and 'thats the one, thats my next watch' :)

Maybe the leather is different but I paid £400 for the leather strap off the Seamaster 300 and a deployant a couple of months ago to go on my Railmaster.

I'm patently waiting for the Snoopy, that's #1 but I can have others on my want list, I know your holding out a couple more to add to your collection Martin ;)

You have your WTB thread, patience young padawan... also I've learnt (to the cost of my bank balance ::facepalm2::) it's not a crime to go aftermarket on straps

Luckily the GM has fulfilled/spent my pocket money for 2020 purchasing, I am really happy with my little collection so in no rush to add anything more just yet (I have got a couple of leather straps from Veblenist that are really comfy so will explore aftermarket in time) and let my WTB play out for now of course
