Popped my Rolex cherry today with this 1969 linen dial Air-King-Date, Happy Birthday me!
Fabulous! Never seen a linen dialed Airking. That is indeed a happy birthday to you. I have an OPD and Airking, love them both and the 34mm size is perfect.

Given the new AK is essentially a re-dialed Milguass, I can't say I dislike it; I just prefer the Milgauss when it comes to "fun" Rolex

I had a 114234 with the orange numerals which my partner took over and am now looking at getting the new one for myself.

i like the story behind the watch more than the watch itself. though the Air King font looks nice on the dial.

Wow, that is nice. And look at that price, GBP 40!

Are these vintage ones sturdy enough that they would make a daily wearer? Sadly I've found that only about 20% of my vintage Omegas pass the water proof test.
