Since having my Omega Seamaster serviced by Omega and the Winder replaced ive got this...Any advice on what I can do? It never did it pre service. Are Omega using a different metal? It certainly looks bigger than the one they replaced? Thanks

Looks to me more like an “irritation”, rather than an allergic reaction. The one picture shows you wearing the watch on the wrist where it bends. The crown irritates the skin. If it is indeed an allergic reaction, it would likely also occur if you tried wearing the watch further up your arm. Worth a try?

A classic medical conundrum known in Latin as:

"Wornbelowtheulnaritis"

Treatment: size the bracelet properly for wear above your ulnar bone and take two dabs of Neosporin on the abrasion daily.

Go forth and thrive.

Could be that the bracelet got adjusted, I have to agree with @SC1 this this is pretty classically that the crown struck your hand. Did you recently engage in some activity or work where the watch would have moved rapidly on your arm while your hand was bent, and struck you? I've had this happen personally with an ill-fitting bracelet/

Is that the midsize? One solution would be to wear the watch on your right wrist… but you’d be weird for doing so 😗

I too suffered from allergic reaction from wearing stainless steel Seamaster. The solution to this is Stainless Steel Sea-Dweller. It’s not the steel that irritates you, it’s the brand. It’s worth a try.

My dermatologist says I have Patek-only skin. My insurance is in my wife’s name, so this has been a true first-world struggle here.
