Politician, you have to have no scruples to be able to lie for a living.

Oddly enough I've long been tempted to give that a go as I feel like I could do better than others who have tried before in my neck of the woods. It's not that I would necessarily enjoy it but rather that I'd rather it be me than some of the alternatives.

I had a buddy who described how we should be picking our political leaders. He said everyone's name and qualifications should be put into a computer. Then every four years, law enforcement would come to the house of the most qualified and remove them kicking and screaming to their new job.
