It may sound silly but your twitter attempt may be a good avenue to continue down. Give a not so positive query on FB, Twitter... the entire social media scene at the manufacturer has gotten me a few good responses where they reached out to me to handle....mainly to keep negatives out of public forum... good luck. Has to be driving you mad...as it would most

Friends of the Omega community, updates are to be had. Sadly, the update is not that my watch has arrived. My last update included that the completion date had been moved some weeks out to a date that is now tomorrow. I had called to check status on the 20th, and was advised that it was in QC and I should have my precious Speedy in my hands within five business days. Turns out it failed QC, and had to go back to the bench. As of yesterday it had passed the second to last QC test, and they expected it to pass again today, to ship tomorrow. Based on the conversations I've had over the last three weeks, it sounds like my entire movement was replaced, and after replacing the damaged hands again, they had to order another kit and do it a third time. Part of me is thankful they have gone the extra mile to not rush it back to me in the condition I received it back the first time, and yet I'm also dismayed that there have been so many problems come out of what was supposed to be a standard service. I read stories about the 3606A movement getting serviced in two weeks, and compare that to my six month long ordeal. I will say that all of this has ushered me clear out of the land of anger, and into a place where I just want my watch to come home. Here's hoping that everything is top notch when it arrives next week, and I'll be able to wear it for many years before I have to part with it again. It probably won't be getting serviced by Swatch.

Thanks for the update. I hope your precious will find the way to home very soon

At long last friends, the day has come. And...

IT IS PERFECT! Here are the parts from this run. Combined with the parts from the first attempt, it looks like just about every single piece of the watch has been replaced at this point.

I foolishly didn't take a photo of the last bag of parts, but it includes the bezel, pushers, mainspring, hands kit, and several others I'm not super familiar with.

THE DAY HAS COME, AND IT IS GLORIOUS!!! I tested every last thing, date and day changeovers, day quickset, chrono, and more. It's also now rated for -0.9 variance, so sweet mercy. I am a happy camper. What a wonderful end to my six month long drama. Appreciate all you guys!
