Aero-Compax (1950) - original hands?

Hello friends,
I‘ve owned this Aero Compax for a few years now and always wondered whether the hands got tinkered with at some point in its life. They are shimmering in a dark blue and seem to have been sanded. There‘s no lumen at the tips either. Date of production around 1950.

Hi there. that is a very late 50's possibly early 60 aero. The reference is 22704/03. The dial is well weathered and do not look right but they could be weathered as is the dial. It should look like this :

I think the hands may be original but whoever, in his/her wisdom, decided to paint the hands with a thick coat of matt paint and turned out making a bit of a mess of things.

It just looks like a non-lume version of the above posted 22703 - hands and dial match fine to me.
