Advises on 105.003 ?

Hi OF members,

I have been offered this watch not far from my location so I met the seller and here are the picture

Everything looks coherent excepted the bracelet (which does not count here).
My only concerns are:
1)the case back which is quite used (not polished to my eyes, just "skinned" polished as it looks smooth ;
2)top of the lugs is brushed and not polished (that can be easily fixed)
Next to these 2 remarks, nothing else caught my attention.
EoA is pending, hopefully next week.
Price is 13k~14k€.

Any additional thoughts?

The dial looks extremely brown in the photos. Is that the case? Or is it an artifact of the lighting?

My first thought is, buy that before an underhanded OF'er finds it and snatches it away.

Sure it falls down on condition, but look how attractive that dial is. (To me at least, I know others prefer perfection).

That is a spectacular dial, nothing else about the watch would stop me buying it. Maybe even if it failed the extract....(!)

That, to me, is a very attractive watch. Problems, sure, but so what. With all the sh1tty Ed Whites on the market recently, this one is a welcome break to my eyes, and for a reasonable price. OK a bit strong price but that dial is really rare. Not perfect but really good. Remember top EW's are still over $30k and the junk ones are around 8K, so this seems about right for where its being sold.

If you don't buy it, tell me the details because I will.

A quick moment of caution to myself and you, check that colour in hand and in daylight. Make sure its as nice as we think.

The seller asks for US$ 19500. If you talked him down to euro 13000, then its an interesting deal. Movement looks good; the outer case back would distract me ...... its , as always, a question of taste. Good Luck !

Pictures above are the one I personally took. So what you see here is what it looks like in real, even if it was under stormy condition last week in Paris.

The seller has finally received EoA, all good.
Should have bought it yesterday evening but the seller wanted to make the deal at his bank.
So I have to wait until next Friday morning now...

Gorgeous. I have a chocolate-dial Ed White myself that I love but I'd say your dial is in better shape and price seems fair.

13750€ exactly is the agreed price for the watch.
I was about to already get a 1506 bracelet, agreed on the price but realized 105.003 need a 1035 and not 1506...😵‍💫
So for the moment, I'll stick with my Forstner and Nato's.
