When you don't like the answer you get, keeping asking in different places until you do...
Give the guy a break. All he asked was could he paint the hand to keep the watch original, and if not, where he could source a new one.
It doesn't help when people give conflicting answers to his question.

Thank you ! At last someone knows what I'm asking instead of being accused of not listening let's all back off and I'll sort it through my watchmaker on Tuesday thanks for the helpful people

Have you worked out why the hands are rusting/getting rusty marks on them?

Just changing the hands, if there's been water inside (which it looks like there has), does not fix/investigate the underlying problem - of how those rusty marks got on the hands in the first place.

It's like taking a car with a blown up engine and no gearbox to have a new paint job.
Hmmm

May be wrong entirely, the frustration of reading ongoing threads where good advice is give and the OP ignoring it is clearly effecting my ability to do research on his behalf.

Let's see how many more parts are needed for the cause of that rusty mark....
I'm only asking advice on the hands the rest is with my watchmaker so let's not divert paint or change the the hands

Don't be silly I'm keeping it
Wait till you see the repair bill...

He was referencing the Speedmaster reduced thread also going on right now that explains why these are much more affordable on eBay and why. Not slamming you.

What amazes me is that no-one has told the OP yet that he needs a real Speedmaster, aka the Pro.

Oh !! Stop it
Do you think I have not thought that out
1 the Speedmaster Is too big and manual
So the Speedmaster reduced is perfect and automatic so is the best for meb
