Hi, guys need some advice on this 1965 Ed white.
Below is the picture and some thought of me on this Ed white.
Dial: Lume on dial seems original, dial looks very clean, almost too new, is it possible of this condition dial after over 50years?
Bezel: Quite good condition DO90 bezel.
Hands: Look likes original one.
Case: Seems a bit over polished before.
Caseback: Nice and clear omega stamped logo
Crown and pusher: Replacement crown and pusher after service.
Overall: I think my biggest problem of watch is in case and dial of this Ed white. Dial looks very clean and I’m wonder is it redial before? And also case was not polished in last service but the bevel on side on lugs seems not so even, do you guys think it is over polished before?

And finally thanks for finished reading the thread, hope getting some advice from you guys~

Lume (on dial and hands) looks fine to me (there is some darker patination on some plots). Dial looks correct to me. What I find more interesting is that the dial has a silky/shiney texture...these are usually mat...not ringing alarm bells, just an interesting first impression. Case looks good from the few pictures (more more would be required to make a definitive judgement). What’s the ask?

I'm no expert, but I've seen that 'shiny'/'silky' dial a couple of times before - in fact there's an 'Ed White' with a similar looking dial on Ebay (UK) right now. So, I'm guessing *some* dials may have got 'shiny'.

That hand lume is paler than I would expect, esp that on the spear chrono. I would want a closer look a those but other than the usual case polish maybe it looks nice. I agree the dial looks smoother/shinier than normal, almost towards the grey Soleil spectrum but it might just be the photo.

The irregular and "wormy" shape of the index looks strange for a 105.003 (unlike on some 145.012 for example), but not expert enough to say relumed or not. The dial looks really great... case... to be confirmed with other clearer pictures. And the asked price of course...

That is perfectly normal on a EW, particularly the -65. The thread Eve links to above shows several exhibiting this. In fact I would be suspicious if it were too regular!

Yes my question is mostly about dial and case. And that silky shiny looks on dial make me felt weird, I will try to ask for more picture of case and the information of bracelet. Price is about 14500 usd do you guys think it’s a good deal?

The photos appear to be from Chrono24, but I couldn't find the listing.

I'd want to see some more shots of the case.

I like the dial and hands... and bezel - as I'm sure you know, the crown and pushers can be sorted (if you wanted to.)

Looking at the dial, bezel and shapes of the case, I think this is a fair watch.

Just my 2 cents.

I think it looks fine. I didn't see the movement cover though with the nice condition of the movement, I might guess that it was there with the watch. Case looks fine, and the pushers are replaced with the correct ones. The dial is a variant with a more shiny texture but that's typical of Pre-pro and Pro in this period. For dial and hands, they look good, but I would do a black light test on them to check just for a peace of mind. The bezel is of course correct.

All told, a good example.

This Ed white just sold two days ago before seller reply my question, seems good Ed white still highly sought after in current market.
