Advice on this 1962 Seamaster 30 Caliber 286

Well, the dial might have been redone. Crown matching - not sure,, but case looks clear and sound, movement is in very good condition, just my thoughts.

Price point for me if willing to buy would be USD 350 - 450.

To be honest, I was just browsing Ebay and fell in love with this. 6 hours to go so thought I would use the knowledge of this forum instead of buying something I have no knowledge of and no time to do good research.

vintage manual wind seamasters are very cool and those explorer-style numerals are pretty slick. movement looks nice and clean as well. I think it's a nice honest watch.

Decent entry-level piece at first glance. I generally don't recommend plated cases, but at least it's in good condition.

@Kdog1971 - did you end up bidding on the watch? Seems to have sold for just under $600.
I didn't get it. Thanks to all for the advice. I'll keep looking.
