I would take the blue one, because I am a Bond fan!

Craig's wearing the gray in the new promotional poster.

But the Bond25 watch might get a blue dial

IMHO the black dial tends to make the watch feel small
Could be the way it wears on your wrist, but if you are referring to the textured "wave" dial I would respectfully disagree. The watch feels like a 41 at a minimum (it's a 42), but the lugs make it feel much bigger than it is, especially if you have chicken wrists like me!

I love the black dial. It just looks so classy but it's still a sport watch. I goes with whatever you're wearing and the aesthetic is beautiful

I went grey:

I'm really starting to like the gray. I'm no expert, but I can't think of another Omega that looks like the gray dial with the lighter blue skeleton hands. And I don't think you'll see that many: people seem to go with the blue or black. Blue's a classic, but the gray is a more exciting choice.

Grey on blue rubber strap looks amazing. Grey on SS bracelet looks washed out to me. Too much white metal and not enough contrast.

Black of course is a dresser watch but even in the business world people are dressing more casual. I have a Tag Heuer black Aquaracer that I really like. So if I'm going for a Omega I have two options.
Trade in my black Tag to help pay for the cost of the back face Omega. The reason is once I have a black face Omega I will never want to wear the Tag.
Or keep the Tag and buy a Blue Seamaster which looks stunning.

I personally love both the black and blue face Seamaster. I am also pleased with the updated quality they put in the new 2018 and like the Waves in the background. Having textured background is appealing to me as long as it's not distracting. Both the Tag Aquaracer and Seamaster did it in a nice way.

In a perfect world I would buy a black and then save and buy a blue face Seamaster. That would be about the cost of a date Submariner. The blue catches your eye more and the black is more of a blend in elegant look. I love the third hand red tip by the way as well. The date on the bottom is very nice as well.

Tried them all on and went with blue. I already had the outgoing one in black, then sold it about a month later. Black is a smudge magnet

I’m a fan of the blue as I have a 2221 however, I went to an AD today and tried one on along with the 42mm planet ocean and I still not sure about the dial and the bezel.

I loved the dimensions compared to the PO but prefer the PO colour. Not sure if it’s because it’s a deeper blue.

The more prominent waves and larger numerals on the bezel are putting me off!

Having said that, the black and gold on a rubber strap look good.

To honest , in real life they are all so different from press pictures.
IMHO the black dial tends to make the watch feel small, almost 36.25mm midsize small.
The blue seemed rather flat to me, BUT the silver takes on a real 3 dimensional vision.
I pulled the trigger on Silver Dial on steel and (added the blue rubber/buckle for $270).
This looks a lot better from the press pictures! Great pictures!

This wasn't that close in my opinion, the blue just doesn't pop compared to the more "inky" version of the previous blue, the black says to me I want a submariner. I owned the older one in black and sold it because it was too small and was psyched when the new one came out but even though it was an improved watch, I couldn't get excited. The grey/blue has stood out as different to me and is really versitile, definately the combo to own with this watch, great contrast, interesting, totally understand why they chose this to be the bond watch. My dealer had several blues and blacks and only one grey and said that every time they have a grey one, it sells fast and was less motivated to discount it. No wrong moves though in general, all look nice!
