I chose this one when they were first released but sent it back as it just didn’t quite do it for me. I have the black dial on bracelet arriving Tuesday instead.
This is the watch that will be lusted after down line.

Mine turned up yesterday. As you can see, I ended up with the blue which I am absolutely wrapped in.

I had a really hard time to decide. I was extremely torn between Blue and Grey. I finally settled with the blue dial as it has a more classic feel. I bought it on the steel bracelet and yesterday I received the rubber strap as well.

Black was no option for me as I already have two other black dial watches and not because I don‘t like the black one. Whatever version you choose: it won‘t be the wrong decision.

In the beginning, I prefer black dial more, but as I see more and more pictures of the blue dial, I start to welcome it.

My blue with steel bracelet will be here Tuesday. I chose the blue for a couple of reasons, I already have a black sub and the blue is the iconic Omega color for me. My sub flies under the radar and I wanted something with a little more crowd appeal, lol. I tired on the black and it was really nice but went with blue. I am coming from a Planet Ocean 43.5 with the 8900 movement. The new SMP felt like my sub compared to my PO. It is not top heavy and sits much flatter on the wrist. I will post pics when I get it, and if you want as a reference, post it side by side with my sub for comparison.

The problem is that many of the pictures of the blue dial on the internet are inaccurate because they use lighting or filters to enhance the color. I've noticed in person that the blue isn't as saturated as all those Instagram posts make it appear. Still a good color choice, but not as "inky" as the last generation. I go back and forth daily, but for now I have the black.

Which Seamaster 300 dial is your choice?

I'd pick the black one. I find the other ones look pretty cheap... Just my opinion btw! 😀

These are such hard choices. I would have been dead set on silver until today, now it's all about blue. I think that just shows they're all strong, and some look better in certain lights than others.

1st world problems choosing your favourite dial.

I'd pick the same colour ( blue) as mine from 2000. Then the Mrs is less likely to spot its new.

I like the blue one but overall I would go for black.

Blue is classic for this model, but I am really digging the silver dial with blue hands. I also like this color combo on the Aqua Terra.

And is it me or the photos or does the line look slightly ivory?

I feel the same way about the SMP and AT, grey is gorgeous.

Having said that, the date on the grey seems really difficult to read, and that's saying something as an owner of a Tudor Fastrider.

If I didn't already have a blue SMP, I'd go for blue this time around. Outlier choice for me is the black and gold, but on the rubber strap.

I just received my blue on SS bracelet and love it. It is gorgeous and will post after while. Amazing accuracy, less than a second fast in 30 hours wearing. I do have a question, it’s presentation box is smaller than the other new style bamboo boxes I have received with my 2017 and 2018 Omega’s. Same design and materials, just a little smaller. Anybody else experienced this, or has it been discussed earlier?

Call me old fashion, but I think a Seamaster has to be blue (just like a Rolex Submariner has to be black).

Ideally you should see them all, side by side to make a decision.

I got mine in presentation box number 3. As it is stated in the pictogram card and on the outer shell of the box. Can you check yours and post a pic?

Yes mine is box number 3 also, I wish I had kept track of the box number of my 2017 and 2018 PO’s. Unless I’m losing it, I could swear this box is a little smaller. I did keep the test results from those watches in my Omega app, but it does not keep the pictogram stats.

Do you have the pictogram card of your POs?
