A vote for blue dial in bracelet for this 2018 Seamaster. It’s the original SM color of the Bond era. A fitting tribute for both Omega and the Seamaster model.

Yep the rubber strap is $240 and the buckle $35!!
Cheapest best value for the money imho.

My OB has the privilege of providing pieces to some high profile individuals and the frequent choice has been Black/Sedna Gold on rubber...which is nice but bit to flashy for me.

Strange that it’s not more popular amongst the WIS’s

Maybe because most of WIS prefer the concept of “value”? For example, I don’t see the need to pay extra for the two tone or the gold if I can get the “same” watch anyway

But I agree with you, it’s nice actually. Maybe if hypothetically they sold it with the same price, maybe I would pick the two tones

I chose this one when they were first released but sent it back as it just didn’t quite do it for me. I have the black dial on bracelet arriving Tuesday instead.

I have the black with sedna highlights on a rubber strap in my wish list.

Looking at these, I find myself wondering what the inevitable upcoming limited editions of the SMP will look like. A green version? Solid yellow gold w. blue bezel? Silver dial w. red bezel?

A ‘deep black’ type look similar the PO with some gold accents would look amazing.

My personal preferences were
1. blue on steel
2. black on rubber
3. black/gold on rubber
4. everything else equally awesome

Thanks all.
With your help I decided on the traditional blue on bracelet and then I'll put it on a blue or black (most likely blue) rubber OEM strap.

👍👍

Don’t know how I managed to miss this thread. Must remember to use the search function from time to time :whipped:.

My favorite so far is the Titanium/Tantalum/Sedna gold version, followed by Black dial and Sedna, then blue dial Stainless. I posted a new thread for the Ti version build up for those interested. Oh, let’s just skip the waffle and see some pics. In no particular order

The pre-2018 dial in black. Not a fan of the new version.

I find the grey to be a bit insipid, the black to be a bit hard to read, the blue to be just the right balance of contrast.

So..........BLU!
You are correct, in person the black is a bit harder to read time. At that first glance anyway, which is what we do most.

The blue is nice but i find the shade to be lighter than the previous blue, which I had and loved.

I chose the black because it give me more strap options over the blue. So far I am digging the black.
