·Hi,
I am a newbie to the forum and so delighted to have come across it! So I need some advice as I having been wanting to buy an Omega Cosmic Square TDMP watch for a while as a milestone birthday present to myself and have been waiting for one to come along. Well as luck would have it nothing until suddenly two come along at once haha.
The thing is now I am torn which one to get and would really appreciate any advice from the more experienced amongst you.
Watch 1: "new" old stock - not quite unworn but as good as. Everything as original and almost perfect to look at with a beautiful cream dial and no marks or patina on the bezel etc.
Watch 2:
Again another original watch literally nothing changed or done to it from puechaee. However the difference here is it looks a bit more worn although still in excellent condition apart from one number slightly faded and some patina on the gold and some slight yellowing of the dial.
Now the main difference is the price. The new old stock is literally double the price of the other one. I am not buying this as an investment as I want to wear it but I will be spending a lot of money on it so at the same time want to make sure I am making the right financial choice here.
I know people will ask for pictures but I don't have them as of yet although going to see them again on Friday so will take some then but have seen both in person as they will be available for sale soon by a friend of a friend who is a vintage watch specialist.
Thank you so much for any help you can offer
