Here are some pictures that might help. I have been looking everywhere but can not seem to find a watch that has the numerals like mine . It is 14k rolled gold seventeen jewels. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all and I am so happy to finally own my first omega. I hope it won't be my last.

The font used in the dial is modern so that may explain a thing

It's probably a locally cased Omega with a re-painted dial.
Where are you located and what is the history of the watch?

OXG marking on movement indicates this is an American market watch. Serial number dates to ca 1942/3.

Okay, so it is a 1942/3 Omega made for the American market. Did they have a name for this way h? I believe it is either art deco or a tank watch but is there like a series nameike sea.aster or. Constellation? Can I switch the case to a solid gold one instead of this gold filled one? If it is possible where might I go to find such a case? And as is what would this watch be worth? I was given the watch for doing some yard work fory neighbor. He did not give me a y history about it. He just handed me the watch and a $100 bill. I only raked 2 bags of leaves and swept the sidewalk so I figured I . Ade out pretty good for a. Hours worth of easy work. Thanks for the info. You are very knowledgeable.

No, there is no name.

Why bother, if you want a solid gold one why not just buy another watch?

Very hard to find a solid gold watch case from 80 years ago. It’s hard enough to find stainless cases but gold is another level as dealers have generally melted them over the last 15 years due to the high gold price
