Good afternoon
I have recently purchased an omega co stellation watch for £3.
The watch does not work , I have no papers or box .
Is it worth repairing and if so could I go somewhere to gain verification papers .
Any history of this watch year of make and model no. Would be appreciated.

Many thanks
Hayley

You’ll need photos, ideally with the caseback removed as well.

Repair it if you want to keep it, if all you want to do is sell it then stick it on eBay as it is.

If you post photos at least someone can say if it’s fake or not

I'm by no means a Constellation expert, but I suspect that's worth about what you paid for it. 😀

A true assessment of value of this watch could best be made after determining the cause of the discolouration of the dial. The way the watch is right now, it is only worth what you paid. If the dial damage is only the tip of the iceberg, it could mean that the watch is valuable mostly as scrap. It is likely quartz which means it would have little value to most collectors. It may only require a cell to return it to operation. If that doesn’t do the job, the only assessment of value that would be meaningful would be your assessment, once you get a quote for the required service. Let us know what you find out. Not many collectors would open their bank account to return this watch to health.

(in Family Fortunes voiceover) We asked a hundred people , you said, is it worth repairing? Our survey said ...
uh uh xxx
3 pounds is no great shakes. looks like huge water damage/ battery fluid damage lies therein anyway.

In the end this pretty much summed it up. No offence intended, couldn't help myself😉

Based on all of the photos, the discoloration may just be the shadow of the phone taking the photo.
I do get the sense that this Constellation design is not particularly desirable. However, I don't think you can beat that price.
