    Hey everyone,

I'm in the market for a vintage constellation and found this nice example. What would you say, is the price justified for the watch or is it overpriced?

Thanks very much for your honest opinions.

    Best

I like it and think you could look for a long time to find a comparable one at a better price.

    Here's the picture...

From my point of view, too expensive for a gold capped one

I think @cristos71 is right. You can wait for a long time to find one cheaper.

Needs it to be gold capped?

Too expensive for my tastes, but I agree that pie-pan 2852s are uncommon in this condition.

Thank you very much for your opinions. I really think this is a very desirable watch and will have a look at it tomorrow. I'll let you know how this unfolds!

I’ve been looking for one of these for my personal collection, and whilst it is a nice example I would not pay that price for gold cap. So if you are happy to wait (like I have been now for several months) the hunt should continue. I guess it all comes down to how patient you are .

Looks lovely and while it is gold capped it is rose gold capped which still make it more desirable. If you can bargain it down abit and it is close by definitely worth a try

Thanks to all of you for your valuable comments. So I will have a look at it tonight, it is freshly serviced at Wempe. I will aim to go for around 1.900 € max. Would you consider that a fair price for the watch? If not, what would be a fair price and what would you consider a bargain?

    Thanks again for your opinion.

If you like it, a few hundreds euro will not make a difference, personally I will buy it if it is under 2000euro
