Hi thank you cristos71 for putting things in that perspective. My bid of 810 USD on the auction ended up winning it, which I guess may be a bit on the higher side of some of the prices I’ve seen on the OF marketplaces... but I’m still thrilled about it nonethelsss and so thankful to everyone for weighing in. I hope I can contribute and help others on here some day too. Now on to strap hunting!
Congrats!
Even with some lug issuses, I think this is a great watch for a fair price.
Details like the original crystals with the reversed cyclops makes it even better 😀

Hi
I just want to circle back to this with an update and to say thank you to everyone for your support. In case anybody is curious... I got the watch, and I love it! I also switched out the strap to one that was graciously and expertly made by @jankoxxx from this forum... thank you! Thank you also @micampe for the inspiration on the strap!

Congrats on the pick-up Bo! (Can I call you Bo? Mr. Bozorg is too formal for this place. 😜) I think you got a very nice specimen.
