Hi !

I plan to buy a vintage Omega and I have come across several watches that interest me but I do not know the prices and I am a little afraid of being fooled and paying a lot more for the watch than its price. Here are the 2 watches that are currently on my radar:

1 :

3-png.15446961

4-png.15446963

5-png.15446965
The information I have concerning the watch is: It works well and dates from the 1969, Cal 503,

2 :

21-png.15446971

20-png.15446972

The information I have concerning the watch is: It works well and dates from the 1960s

Thank you for your help and if i'm in the wrong section sorry.

It would be helpful to post the asking prices and high resolution photos of the dials in good lighting.

Number one is not from 1969, either. It's more than 10 years older.

#1 is from 1959ish and #2 is from 1955-1958.

#1 looks okay but has the wrong crown. Can’t tell on #2 since photos are bad, but it also has the wrong crown.

Both seem to have soft cases which would make them worth.. not a whole lot. Share prices.

Not cheap but not unreasonable in today’s market

For the 1 or 2 ?
I was looking at 1. As @STANDY has indicated, the photos you’ve shared on 2 are insufficient and neither you nor we can see the dial clearly.

I bought this 591 movement watch (I can’t locate the case details) for £400 about two years ago. I always thought that that was about right. It’s not as pretty as your potential purchase but probably in the same value band and these haven’t depreciated since.

The 2849 doesn't appear to have the correct crown. Can't tell whether it is steel or gold-capped, both were available. The second one, how to tell?

Ty !!!!

It's hard to found one ?
Yes and no. Searching by reference number helps you find what you might want. Patience is the key!
