Have used it twice now. Guaranteed not a mark left after 10-15 minutes of soaking in acetone once the back is off.
Rescued a JLC after the watchmaker had almost given up by suggesting it (my risk).
Tried it at home later on. Old diver. No match!
The old JLC had it's share of battle scars from earlier. At least did not add to them.

Someone has made several failed attempts to get it open. What I don't understand is why one don't give up after have failed twice, seeing the damage you already have caused! Or must have seen....馃槻
OK, I'm guilty of having scratched casebacks too, but never more than one failed attempt on each occasion. And I can count the failures on one hands fingers, over a period of more than 10 years
I wonder if this damage is possible to repair with lazer?
