Came across this guy today. Pawn shop wants 1100. Band is in pretty terrible condition. Cool looking piece. Just hate to miss out on a rare gem if it is one

It does work.

If it's solid gold, you can melt it and keep the movement. $300-400. Gold plate = $150 max.

The dial is in awful condition so the value is mainly in the gold. Since it’s a pawn shop, you can assume they are asking more than melt value.

Best thing you have done today (by checking first that is).

We see so many posts of newcomers showing us their latest catch, only to feel delated when they learn more.
Some take it on the chin, others crack the shits and end up watching cat memes.
