A question about replacing screwdriver tips:

Well, two questions really…

I found this screwdriver amongst my tool stash:

It’s marked as a “2.0.” My question: if I wanted to retro fit a 1.8 blade into this screwdriver, can that be done, or do I have to buy a 1.8 screwdriver to take a 1.8 blade?

Also, look at this tip:

This is the way it came from the factory. Has anyone seen this particular model in the Bergeon line? I can’t seem to find this and I’ve searched. Many thanks.

you would not be able to secure the 1.8mm blade properly on center into a 2.0mm handle

Thanks, interesting. So most/all of the screwdrivers have internal diameters specific to the respective tip sizes?

You generally have to fit the size blade that the handle was made for.

That is a hollow ground blade by the look of your photos - ideal for rounded heads on screws, but not as good on flat headed screws.
