·Just to update you guys, I actually bought a Datejust 36mm with a fluted bezel and got it with a jubilee bracelet and a silver dial. He loved it!

I bought my Dad a watch for Father's Day and his Birthday which fell on June 26 almost 20 years ago. I asked my Dad what he wanted as he was very picky when it came to jewelry or watches. He said he'd like a Ulysse Nardin Maxi Diver on a bracelet with a white dial...Dad knew what he wanted. I'd heard of Ulysse Nardin, but, had never owned one. UN make fine timepieces and are very respected in the watch community. My Dad wore that watch almost every day for almost 20 years and now my youngest son has it on his wrist.
