·The hour hand is completely different though. I should of course clarify it's a fantastic watch, and this Longines (plus the single crown skin-diver version) happens to be one of my absolute favorite watches. Just want to check what's right, and perhaps highlight it for the OP if it wasn't spotted...

Not an alarm. The extra crown moves an internal bezel for timing dives. These are generally what define the aesthetics on "super compressor" watches.
God I love this longines. They made a reissue but it was just so big compared to the original.

The reissue is the same size as the original. At 42 mm this watch was way ahead of its time.
