Before and After Dial Cleaning: Longines Content

    I snagged what I thought was a silver dialed oversized Longines on the Bay, but the lighting was awful.

    Needless to say a massive improvement. Should get back next week depending on the weather.

    Thanks, I am stoked. The hands are actually killer blued steel, cannot wait to properly photograph it.

    That looks incredible- what's the process and risk for dial cleaning?

    Um...well...I told him to only use a dial brush.

    AND

    He dipped it...not once...but twice ::facepalm1::

    It apparently had an oily residue on it and was really nasty. Since there was no lume, I guess no harm no foul, and it looks great.

    Normally, I would NEVER want a dial to be dipped.
