Hello Another very rare el primero and a many years old grail will be part of my collection soon, the Espada El Primero 01.0040.418, which is the same model as the Espada El Primero A7817 (manufactured from 1971 to early 1973) , with a triple date complication in moon phase. The only differences are as follows: the new logo was used on the dial and its back is plain (without star) with the model code 01.0040.418 and the mention "sub sea". Together with the 300 under ref. A7817, this means that a total of 800 Espada were manufactured. Watch very rare and for the advised connoisseur. This one is ultra full set Here are the photos of the seller, I will post mine as soon as it arrives Have a nice week end Sincerely Georges.
Exceptional piece and one that i will definitely add to my collection one day. May you wear it in good health! X
Congrats for this new piece, and looking for more pictures on the wrist!! In addition, having it full set is awesome.

Congrats! Really nice watch. The original dial colors are really the best for a Primero... I love the box too, very 70's!
I’m confused, the crown looks to me older than the watch. Vintage Zenith’s world is really messed up. The watch looks beatiful, my congratulation!! Georgeszaslavsky please post your photos as soon as possible
https://forums.watchuseek.com/f27/o...tainless-steel-models-1969-1975-a-586997.html what does it says here??? 01.0040.418 500 made between 1973-1975 Same Espada as the A7817 (see 1971), with triple date moonphase complication. The only differences are : the new logo was used on the dial and it now has a plain back (without star) with the model code 01.0040.418 and the mention ‘sub sea’. Together with the 300 under ref. A7817, this means that a total of 800 Espada's were made. What is engraved on the caseback? Again 01. 0040.418. Bracelet is 3475 so it means it was made in the third quarter of 1975. Unlike the A7817 dial which has a star mine doesn't, mine has the newer logo so definitely a second series espada. Probably was serviced at sometime so they put an older crown on it and dealer invoice might not be original but from an older espada or another model, all the rest of the watch is legit and original.I have seen some way much more condition espadas than mine not full set and costing as most as what I have paid for mine. One can always nitpick on very small details like crown and invoice and 100% originality but I can nitpick too on an original watch in very average condition which is unrestorable and which will cost you 30% to 50% more to be restored or even repaired if it is repairable.
I have taken some quick pictures last saturday morning with an average day light, so I will apologize if they are of average quality
this are great watches of this time period, the countless number of parts and the presence is uncomparable by most at this time period.
