Meh... as new rule master @timecube can employ rule #1 and do as he wishes.
My folks always had a rule with gifts. Once you give them they are out of your control. Person is able to toss it, regift, sell, destroy, etc. and you can’t be concerned. Maybe they adopted this as a defense mechanism because their parents threw out all their artwork as kids haha
