·Firstly; if this breaks any forum rules, please let me know & I will delete the post & just give the watch away to someone on here for shits & giggles.
I was reading the 'Why we are happy when a watch stays in the OF family' thread & it got me thinking.
We all need some good vibes right now while we are stuck at home, wondering what the future will bring. And we might as well drown out the dickheads while we have time.
I haven't been an active poster for that long, but I have lurked for years & the advice & education you guys have offered & imparted has been like a masterclass, so i want to pay it back/forward through a little experiment & who knows, it might be fun.
Here is a watch I picked up for free.
Omega f300 cal, 1260 s/s blue dial s/n 34904945
Following advice from this forum, I sent it to Rob B. in Thailand. On August 29, 2019, he replaced the gasket & the T-coil unit. I dug out a dark brown leather Nato & it looks just spiffy.
It hums along perfectly.
I am giving it away here.
Please post a comment below with a number between 1 - 500. In 24 hours I will use a random number generator to decide the winner.
The Catch: if you are the winner of this watch, you must, in turn, give something watch-related away... and we keep it going for as long as we can.
I'm in a small town in Aus, so postage might take a while - (ill cover that cost too), but someone on this forum is getting this watch for free.
Aaaaaaaand GO!
