It only took 6 years, but last Summer (2023), I finally bought a Reverso!
The model variant is a Grande Reverso Ultra Thin, which shares the 46 x 27.5 x 7.2mm and movement of the Tribute to 1931, but with the regular case engraving and the modern silvered dial, with simple vertical striped guilloche in the dial centre, and blued steel hands.
It came on its original black crocodile strap - and I am the fourth owner. The last guy who I bought it from, said he was selling as it is a "dress watch" and he no longer wears suits so was moving it along.
I promptly took it to the JLC boutique here in London, and bought the brown Casa Fagliano polo strap and spent most of last summer (and a chunk of the winter so far) wearing it with everything from shirt sleeves, to t-shirts and once even a jacket and tie.
It took me a long time to get here, but it was worth the journey.
