Unfortunately, the story has a sad ending. The watch is too big for Niko's wrist, so he's giving it to me. Is he a great guy or what? 😁 Just kidding, Niko. Great story, gorgeous watch and congrats.
Dont worry you are 1st on the dibs list.. I got a written paper for it

Fantastic watch and a great story.....these kind of additions to the collection are the best, anyone can click BIN, but sometimes it takes some skill and diplomacy to land the best ones....DIBS!

That is a sweet looking vintage Omega!

What an awesome story on how you acquired it, with the original papers and box, etc.

Thanks for posting and sharing.

Loved the read. I love a good story, especially one that ends in a waffle dial. Wear it in good health Niko!

Congrats Niko - as @cristos71 said, so much more rewarding than simply buying one online. Also, thumbs up to the guy‘s child who believed a collector like you would enjoy it more. 😀 A person who turns down a nice Connie - certainly a rare breed around the OF-waters.

Thank you! Its a many first for me. First steel connie and first waffle connie. It makes two full set constellations that I am really happy with overall condition wise. Slowly but surely trying to build up a respectable collection!
