OK...I’ll buy that for $1. 👍

Referencing the pic below, Mad Dog explains to the super hot MOPAR girl: “You are repulsed by me at the moment but later you will think I am cute...I know this is true because I read it on Omega Forums!”...

Is the glass to keep you out or her in 😒

Your work looks like what my dad used to do - although his work area wasn't typically so neat.

Similar work for sure. Only difference is I deal with electronics in aircrafts. What did he repair?

Here's one of me and my son when we were at McCormick-Stillman Railroad park in Scottsdale. This is from late December, so fairly recent. Probably been there a dozen times over the last year as my son loves trains. Speedy is poking out from under my cuff.

@Mad Dog - next time you have a long layover in the Phoenix area you should check it out. That hall in the picture above has O, HO, and N gauge layouts - that's the N right behind me there. Not only do they have the model trains though, but they have steam engines that go around the 3/4 mile track at the park too.

Here's some more pictures:

I happened to trip over this old thread. Wasn't sure whether to revive it or let it rest. There are a lot of newbies (sortof) like me, but I'd like to think the forum is still a personable place like it was in 2018. It’s nice to see that a lot of names from the early days are still hanging in there. It's fun to see the people who have shared so much of themselves here in the forum.

This photo below seems appropriate. I recently went to Switzerland and met a member who has been a mentor and friend for several years, sharing the early days of covid, helping me with children in college and cancer, as well as just talking watches. It was nice to turn a 2D relationship into a 3D.

So here I go..

Cheers ya'll.

What I look like on the weekends, this time of year.

Hanging out with 12 foot tall mechanical men.

If you are in San Francisco, on the weekends, this season. Come visit the Dickens Cristmas Fair. (And take one of my tours.)

I think I will leave the typos in this one.

What a cool thread, it's awesome to finally put faces to names. I don't usually share too much online but I feel an obligation to you all as you've generally been so generous with your help and advice. Here's a video of me taken 20 years ago...

My job requires a security clearance so while I can't post a photo of my true appearance, I am a master of disguise. Here I am at last year's Mid-Atlantic G2G taking a group photo.
