What a great thread! Thanks for kicking it off @watchyouwant! Not sure how I’ve missed it the past few weeks.

Here’s a couple from this summer. I too have a penchant for, let’s say tropical shirts. 😁

On my visit to the Omega museum.
Looking through hundreds of vintage watches that Omega owns but has not displayed as yet. These drawers contained thousands of beauties.
Also a photo of the archives, these books are for the earlier watches and contained information on where the watches were sold, the archives for the later watches were viewed via a microfiche.
Cheers, Michael

yeah, i saw the museum stock in the 90`s with John Diethelm. and that did it for me. bought the big book straight away, John autographed it and i have never looked back. it is interesting, how your ability to see wrong features/fakes change, once you handled a few in the museum.... kind regards. achim

Hello...Mad Dog checking in [again]...last weekend I pretended to be Steve McQueen at the Detroit Auto Show at a green screen booth that Ford had set up. I intentionally displayed my modern Speedy Gonzales Moonwatch for the pic...nobody was impressed with my watch...DANG! 😡

Later, one of the super hot MOPAR girls at the Dodge Demon display asked me for the time...so I excitedly gave her the time from my modern Speedy Gonzales Moonwatch...she was not impressed with my watch...DANG! 😡

I think Leonard Cohen (one of my most favourite performers) identified the problem:

Transcript:

Y’know I was talking with some of the guys . . . some of the guys in the band are kind of over the hill. And they were talking about the various stages that a man goes through in relation to his allure to the opposite sex. It was not a scientific evaluation . . . just something that arose over a cup of coffee.

It went something like this: You start off irresistible. And, then you become resistible. And then you become transparent – not exactly invisible but as if you are seen through old plastic. Then you actually do become invisible. And then — and this is the most amazing transformation — you become repulsive. But that’s not the end of the story. After repulsive then you become cute – and that’s where I am.

I think you haven't hit cute yet, to impress those super hot MOPAR girls

OK...I’ll buy that for $1. 👍

Referencing the pic below, Mad Dog explains to the super hot MOPAR girl: “You are repulsed by me at the moment but later you will think I am cute...I know this is true because I read it on Omega Forums!”...
