I think Omega is enjoying all the service work they're going to get as a result of this dog breathing.

I don't have a pic of the dog because it was a strange dog at a beer garden. She was a yappy bitch with an eye infection. I was eating knockwurst and had some grease on my fingers. It happened so fast... I was drunk and couldn't react fast enough. The dog was not drunk.
Here's the watch:

I am so glad you told this story because now I don’t feel as weird telling what happened to me.

This watch is no longer in my collection. It was given to me about 35 years ago when I sold the owner’s family a new Rolex. The watch had been his father’s, then his when he emigrated from England circa 1950, and then in 2021, I located the grandson, and the watch is now back in the family. Early in the 1960s, the (then) owner of the watch had a Samoyed (dog) who loved gold foil wrapped caramel candies. This watch was laying on a coffee table when the Samoyed spied it, and crunch! One bite smashed the glass, demolished the hands, and badly dented the 9 karat gold case back. Then the dog spat it out, having inflicted much damage. That was its condition when it was given to me. The picture was taken after I fixed it up.

Canine watch durability tester. He looks sweet and innocent, but he’s actually the Terminator.

Great looking puppy!!

They are a wonderful breed and make great family dogs, but they grow up fast and there’s a lot of dog under all that hair. Males are often over 100 pounds and the breed requires a lot of grooming and exercise, but they are totally worth it.

What happened to you? Were you drunk? Did you get the gaskets replaced? My wrist sweats when I type, so this is very important to me.

My rule of thumb is to replace the gaskets every time I get drunk, because, really, do you always remember where your hands have been?

Although if you remember, a wise squirrel once said that a good laugh is never a waste of bandwidth.

Ever notice how squirrels will be nearly across and almost off the road, but when they see your car, they try to run all the back where they came from? Terminated due to poor judgment, I suppose. Very sad.

Also, it would appear this thread is mis-categorized, given that the Speedmaster photo from the WWW that was posted isn't a modern Omega.
Hilarious stuff, though...truly.

I am appalled that nobody asks how the dog is faring after near lethal exposure to radiation.
Could be worse. At least it wasn't helium.

True. Dog could have floated away and/or barked with that alien helium voice. 😲
