··Home For Wayward WatchesI have a single Seiko quartz that is a gift from my wife who thought I'd appreciate it in advance of a trans-Atlantic trip taken in the late 1990s. It satisfies my need for quartz.
As my daily grind occurs in an office in a bank lobby, my preferred vintage watches' exterior surfaces aren't exactly stressed so I enjoy wearing them daily.
Even the beaters here are vintage. I have an Enicar, a Mido Multifort, a couple of Zodiac Rotographics, and this favorite post-war to 1960 (?) vintage Glycine which sees most weekend chores duties, waterfowling and other hunting and shooting activities. The silly thing is bulletproof, keeps better time than most any watch in the menagerie here. The local watch shop said it was gaining 3 second per day before a service last year.
