Vintage and collectable!👍
I’m not so sure about collectable...my letter jacket from 1979 smells like old library books...BUT...I guess if an individual collects both old library books and letter jackets...it may be collectable. 👍

I've known one or two lovely women who smell of old library books... you get used to it.😕

30 - 40 years or more is vintage but it's subjective for me.

The term 'vintage' is now a buzzword for almost everything, even though it originally stood for the vintage of a wine.

For me, it is difficult for watches to fix this word solely in terms of year numbers, because it depends on how old the respective owner of a vintage watch is.

For example, if I was twenty years old, a late 1990's watch might be vintage for me.

In my opinion, it is especially important that the watch is still in its original condition or well preserved and there is nowhere to buy new in the store.

So my modest definition is: vintage = basically unmolested condition + no longer regularly available.

Sometimes I think vintage can be a confusing word . To some it's old enough not to be modern but not old enough to to Antique , so in reality it's a moving target depending on what your definition of vintage or modern is or dependant on your age . Personally to me most pre 1967 watches & are vintage & then any watches after that are classic ,& my definition of modern watches is those still in production that you can buy today from your AD, if only because I was born in 1967 & that's my starting point . * I know some references have been in production prior to 67 but you have to start somewhere . As an example , my 16700 from 99 is a classic reference to me but definately not vintage or modern .
