Kid, I have the feeling that it does not move as it should. If I were you, I'd end the auction in the next 10 hours. Add to the description something before you end. Like: " many question about close ups of the dial and hands. I will have it opened and taken out of the case for better pictures. And add movement pictures and the inner case back as well. Then I will re list it for better clarity of this Beauty." Or something along these lines. And do and add exactly that. Before you end, note the ID' s of all current bidders and send them that txt as well. That you don't loose them for the revised listing. With the current distortions from the crystal you might end up with a few 1000's less...... Hope, all goes well ! Kind regards. Achim .... Have a look at my listing on the Bay from watchyouwant for the 1963 PCG gloss/gilt. Even my main pics. Is distorted from the crystal.....

Maybe you can borrow a better camera for the new pics ?

Thanks Achim. I'm feeling the same way. Will see if I can pull and relist with better pics.

Achim is 100% correct. The one major annoyance with vintage Rolex is trying to justify any perceived issues. When I say this, I mean the issues many "so called" experts will pin to your piece and spread to a very small community. Don't forget, there aren't millions of people with that kind of coin lining up to buy a 60 year old watch of that value.

You absolutely need hi resolution pictures for a watch of this nature. You have enough expertise here to fine tune your description, pros and cons included, to make your watch sellable. If you take it off the market. Let it cool down for awhile before re-listing it.

Cheers,

Federico

EDIT: "Don'tforget, there aren't millions of people with that kind of coin lining up to buy a 60 year old watch of that value." = Patience!!

You can end eBay auctions 12 hours before end. Just state: there was an error in the listing.....
