Pretty little tank watch that is a new arrival for me. Not a style normally in my wheelhouse, but it captured my attention in a recent auction because of the beautiful dial and early clamshell waterproof-style case with a slight curve.

The case serial appears to indicate a 1932 production date, which would make this the oldest WW currently in my collection. Unfortunately, somebody attempted to sand off a personalized engraving and I can't quite read it. At 22.5x38.5mm, and taking a 16mm strap, it's a little smaller than the seller claimed.

I don't actually have a 16mm strap in my stash, so I haven't been able to try it on yet, which is probably for the best because it's not keeping very good time. 馃槻

I based it on the serial number list at http://www.schild-eterna.de/.
