Isn't that the most exciting in there? 馃槈

EXACTLY!

I could see two of the divers departing... and maybe some other pieces too.

I wasn't sure about this watch from the pictures... but man am I glad that it's mine now. 馃憤

It's probably my most wearable vintage piece. The orange is more subtle than, for example, on the mkII racing, so you don't need to color match it. And it's surprisingly thin for an 861 equipped chrono: thinner certainly than the also cushion-cased mkII, and I believe thinner than a regular moonwatch, too. And it's rarer to boot 馃槈

Dial came in three cases ( I think as I have seen it in the larger speedmaster case also )

I've yet to see the chrono (C-shaped) case in person, but I was led to believe that the dial color on this one is actually blue. Can you confirm this?

Pic on page one, blue it is.....
Think they all start blue, have seen many shades of blue to grey over the years.

I think you're right Chris - I was trying extra hard to not come across as smug... I went too far into self deprecating and being extra British I think! 馃榿

In a world of over-statement (e.g., the Kardashians), self-deprecation and humility is far more rare and impressive than the watch. Which I also love, by the way.

Thanks for confirming that the C case has a blue dial! I did see your picture (gorgeous watch) but online colors can be deceptive. I know that the "Jedi's" (like the one that started this thread) are definitely originally grey, so there are (at least) two dials of this type.

I was tempted to buy that watch. I love the model and it would make a great fit with my Skywalker. Too bad the funds were not there now. Price was ok I think. The watch looks good. Nice clean case. Pictures are way better than on eBay. Enjoy it!

What a cool watch, the orange hands really do it for me. Jedi and orange all in one, what else do ya need? Oh yeah Omega.

Congrats, I may have to keep an eye out for one.
