895.0901 De Ville Diamonds questions

Dear Omega Friends,
I am in the market for a De Ville Ladies 18k Diamonds, but I couldn't find answers to my questions. Based on the Omega page the watch looks like a De Ville Symbol from the late 80s ref BA.3961016. On the site it says that a diamond dial version was also available, but this is not the case of my watch. We don't have a date either, but what it is strange to me is the diamond strip on the bezel. I have searched online and I have found some historic sales with the same reference number, but all diamond fittings seam to be a bit different on the watches.
My questions:
  • Is it possible, that Omega doesn't position diamonds in the same exact manner/angle?
  • Maybe these are aftermarket?
  • What is your feeling with the watch?
Many thanks in advance - On the right side the watch I am suspicious about, on the left a reference found online

I am fairly new in the collectors community, and I would appreciate your taughts on this.

Very similar from different places but the corner of the diamond encasing is slightly different on all!

I can't upload the image here, but it is visible on my public profile. Thank you

I wouldn't be concerned with the difference.
The De Ville "Symbol" came with a number of different diamond styles.
Omega made many (many) more variations of ladies watches than they did mens models.

Thank you so much for your reply. The weird thing I found is that only 3-4 were visible online and they all had slightly different arrangements. Any red flags on mine? Marked in red.

I wouldn’t worry. Without being rude, this isn’t a collector watch as such. And I speak as an owner. Well sort of as my dad has one but I have no illusions it has any value over the considerable melt for the 18k gold. 1980s quartz Omegas are not exactly sought after.

Well appreciated, I will keep that in mind. Altough it is not a collectible as you mention, I still find it a very nice piece.
