·Hi all and apologies in advance for my first post being one requiring help.
Have recently acquired a Gen 2 42mm Planet Ocean privately and have an issue.
It keeps time impeccably when in my watch box but gains 20,30 possibly even 40+ seconds a day when on the wrist.
Ive Googled this and found a post (somewhere else) saying if the escapement isn’t oiled appropriately this is exactly what will happen.
Anyone aware of being able to address this without a full service or even if that statement was correct?
On a side note, It arrived during our minus weather conditions. Could that have effected the oil?
Really would appreciate any experience people might have.
