Hi all! New member here and I picked up this 2014 Model from a buddy for $2500 and it's my first high end watch! Love it! I did notice it's out of COSC specs running at -6 consistently per day. I live in NC and we don't have a qualified watch maker around to regulate it. I have been setting it about 45 secs ahead to compensate for it. Am I being picky about this? Sorry for the noob questions and concerns. Thanks in advance and look forward to learning from everyone. @Archer

A 2014 watch would still be under warranty, so you could send it to Omega to have it looked at. It's definitely running slow if it's-6 per day. Specs for Omega COSC watches require the average daily rate to be from -1 to +6 seconds per day.

    Cheers, Al

    I thought COSC was -4 to +6?

Not being a smart ar5e but just curious? Or is Omega COSC that bit tighter?

COSC is (at least the one parameter that everyone talks about) -4 to +6. But the watches that Omega has COSC movements in are tuned by Omega to a tighter standard for average rate, so -1 to +6.

Beautiful watch! Come visit DC and drop the watch off at the Omega Boutique in Tysons, Virginia. Kill two birds wth one stone. Seriously, call a boutique and see what they suggest.
