I recently saw a 74 Speedmaster with a 27xxxxxx serial number on the movement. The dealer showed me a genuine extract from Omega and indeed it is a 27mm with production date in 1975! (Don't want to reproduce it here without permission, but looks right to me.)
Is it possible? Has anybody ever encountered something like this? Since 27m is from 68, the movement would be off by around 7 years.
