·Wondering if anyone can offer some insight into this Speedmaster 69st with a 5 digit serial on the caseback.
The number doesn't relate to the movement number at all. I've seen a couple of others with a similar looking 5 digit serial. Do you think it could be military related?

·Ha! Just mention because some mil watches have extra serials engraved on the back. A long shot for sure though! Some kind of stock number system makes sense.
in the end it was the social number of first owner ... useless but fun story
