Honestly, I think the expectation is typically 6-9 months for their LEs, no matter what they say when they start taking orders.

It is arriving at a great time for you. Happy birthday!
Thanks. I honestly believed Omega's original June/July delivery schedule ... maybe slip a month or two at most? Guess I was really naive.

No you weren't naive, the first LE 60 speedmasters were delivered beginning of september, so with two months delay from expected date. Not unusual, but that was three months and a half ago and all have not yet been produced. I just wonder why they experienced such a long delivery period.

I received my 60th Speedy on Monday and have just realised that there is no numbered edition certicate with it.
Has anyone else had this?

Sounds like they cocked up somewhere, mine has one. Some others have experienced the wrong boxes, strap etc. You need to follow that up really.

Thanks just wanted confirmation, I will certainly be following it up.
The good news today is that the AD has just emailed to say that the ST I never expected to get has arrived in store. The bad news is that I won’t be able to pick it up until after Christmas.

I don't recall seeing one in my box.
Perhaps you need to chase it as well. Depends if you’re as finicky on these things as me!
Lol

I just checked again and I don't have one. Could someone tell me if it's a generic certificate or if it has the same edition number as the watch? I will contact the AD.

If you look on pages 35/36 of this thread there is a bit of a conversation about this. The certificate should have, your number/3557.
Hope this helps.

Yup, I found a picture of what the certificate looks like. I just emailed my dealer about it. I'll post an update when I get more info.

This also happened to me. I collected the watch and then when I was looking at pics of others I noticed the booklet (Its not a certificate) that I didn't get. I went back to the AD and it was there. It is a small booklet and has the number of your watch on the back, i.e. mine is 2461 of 3557. When you contact your dealer make sure you tell them your number so that you get the right booklet.

This also happened to me and they didn't explain when I picked it up. I also noticed a few days after. They are sent to store separately apparently, so give them a call and they will post it out to you I'm sure. Hopefully nothing to worry about.

Thanks for this, I haven’t been able to find such a clear picture of what I’m trying to describe to my AD.

I don't recall getting a certificate either. However, the number was on the back cover of the book as Leahcim mentioned. Is that in lieu of the certificate?

Thanks guys. So we are looking for a booklet. I found another pic with an example of the number. Apologies to the owner of the pic, but its for a good cause 😀
I blanked out the name for privacy 😉

So the booklet is the "certificate"? The cover does say "Omega 1957" and "Speedmaster Limited Edition" like it is unique to the watch.

Yes, and it should be covered with a folded piece of paper with just the number on one edge

Thanks for the explanation. I seem to have caused confusion by calling it a certificate. Apologies!
