Picked up my 60th Anniversary Speedy up from the AD today. I really love it. The only thing slightly off was the watch was not in a plastic bag like I have seen on other people's photos of their box opening. The sales guy said they probably removed it at their head office before sending the watch out to their branch location.

Here is a wrist shot. It may look a little big for my 6.3" wrist, but I think it is fine when I am not contorting my wrist and forearm for a photo op. 😉

I think this is the perfect Speedy for me ... unless Omega comes out with a Moonwatch re-edition with a caliber 321. 😁

Looks good. It looks always a bit too big on pics than in reality. And try the leather strap. That will definitely look slightly smaller.

Thanks, you are right about watches looking bigger in photos. I am actually in the process of buying a NOMOS 😲 brown shell cordovan strap because I have this thing for shell cordovan, and I can't find a vintage-style strap in 19mm and shorter length, both of which are available on the NOMOS.

Or go to Bulang and Sons. They might have some 19mm short straps. If not, contact them!

+1 for Bulang!

I actually cancelled my 60th order and ordered a FOIS instead. I couldn't justify the price difference (almost $8K vs just over $3K). That said, I've been drooling over the photos in this thread so maybe I'll change my mind again....

Anyway, I struggled to find a shorter 19mm strap and ended up going with Bulang & Sons. It arrived very quickly (a couple of days to California) and seems very high quality - very soft and supple. I'll post a pic once the FOIS arrives (also today) and the new strap is fitted.

And the UPS guy arrived about 3 minutes after I posted...

Here's the 19mm Bulang & Sons strap on the FOIS. I suspect it would pair nicely with the 60th as well.

I have small wrists as well.

Try Gunny, Emre Leather Works, or Europelli. I've commissioned each of them for a 19mm strap for the Speedy and all are great about working with my tastes and wrist size.

I've already received the Gunny in the Egypt leather and I think it's going to match the lume perfectly!

...now I just need to get the damn watch 🙁

Congrats! It looks great on your wrist. FYI - I was told the same exact thing by my AD.

I did check before. They either had 19mm lug width or short length (with 20mm), but not both.

Strap looks great with the FOIS, but I.m not a "grainy" kind of guy. 😁

Did you special order the strap because I did not find the short 19mm combination on B&S's website?

I hope I am just overreacting, but I don't see any, nada, glow from the lumes on my 60th. Now it has been overcast all day here and the watch hasn't been under too much bright indoor light, but my lumes are dark. Should I let the watch sit under a lamp for a few hours to "prime" them?

Weird......if you have an iPhone, the flashlight should make it glow like crazy for at least a few minutes.......assuming you’re in a dark room.

Nope - I ordered this one: https://shop.bulangandsons.com/watch-straps/two-piece-straps/hazel-brown-leather-watch-strap.html

I noticed that it's a little shorter (12+7cm) than the others so decided to try it out. I have a 7 inch wrist and I've got it on the second hole. It's a little snug but I expect it to stretch a little.

Very soft - probably the most supple strap I've bought and I've tried a few including Hodinkee, B and R etc...

After waiting for 8 months No 34 is finally here😀

I didn't get the plastic shipping wrap like others did as well. The dealer told me that they get too many watches to keep them all in their storage cabinets with the plastic wrap. So they just throw it away. Don't you just hate it when others are getting better keep sakes. Also, my watch came with a tan coloured Nato strap and black leather band. All the deliveries I have seen so far are grey Nato strap and tan leather strap. Did they get mine wrong? Did anyone else get this combo? Was it mixed up with a Seamaster or Railmaster?
