For those that have reserved from OB before for any LE over the years, what has your experience been? This lack of communication seems odd to me, but from all the back and forth on the forums, sounds like this is business as usual.
This is the way it goes, usually silent unless they're inviting you to an event and quickly mention they're still waiting. It comes when it comes.

Perhaps if everyone stopped clamouring for this weeks latest LE from Omega and putting in orders or deposits on items they haven't yet seen, they might start treating people like potential customers instead of gullible mugs?

I admit, I did put myself on 'the list' to LOOK at a 60th edition Speedmaster (purely for the fact that it was released in 1957, the year I was born and it was a potential 60th birthday treat for myself) but couldn't be arsed waiting and got a very nice '57 Speedmaster instead that I touched, tried on and bought with just over a 20% discount.

I have a Apple iPhone because I've looked at it, liked it and decided to buy. I'm not one of those sad gits that join the queue at 4:00 in the morning on the day of release and pay whatever price they ask for something I've not actually touched and examined. It's all hyperbole and from Omegas point of view, it's working fine from what I can see!

Was a good read, helps pass a few minutes of obsessively checking my email waiting to see if they have gotten my watch in LOL

How 'bout a little 60th '57 Speedy inspiration! Photos taken by two OF members.
Cheers.

Ha! I can relate! Frustrating watching all of the excitement around the release of the ST. Crazy as this sounds, the ST just doesn't rock my world like the 60th '57 Speedy.

And I thought I was the only one. Don't get me wrong, the ST is a super cool piece at a great price, but panda/inverse panda dials do nothing for me. 60th Speedy all the way! Anxious to get mine as I put my deposit down in March.

It is business as usual. The Boutique staff gets informations not much before you get it. They didn't even know how ST will be distributed.

since I am getting both, I'll be honest, I'm more excited for my Speedy 60th. It is so beautiful and I plan on using only on special ocassions. The ST definitely rocks also, but that is more of a daily use watch. I'm just glad I'll be able to get both 😁

You are a lucky man. While not getting ST, I feel similarly. Tin Tin is a more daily driver for me, feel like the 60th will be more 'special'. Or, I have to start wearing more than one watch, dunno. 😜

I was not able to get the ST. But I did try on the 60th and honestly I am still in doubt whether to get it or not. As far as the ST was concerned, I had no doubt that I wanted it.

This was the 60th on my wrist. It did find it to be the best watch in the trilogy.
